  • I recently purchased a cool-hot mattress pad, as I suffer from terrible hot flashes and thought this would be the ideal solution. I was a little wary about the motor part attached to it and wondered how noisy it would be. When I received it, I took the motor part out of the box and turned it on ... it was terribly noisy, even though it said on-line that it was "quiet". There is no way I could sleep through this noise, so I called to return it. I was told I could not return the product as it was a "hygiene product". Even though it was never out of the box, I cannot return it. Now I read about their lousy return policies ... I wish I had seen them before, I would NEVER have dealt with them. The company sucks, big time. I have seen the identical product on other on-line sites and they have a 30-day return guarantee, so if THEY can do it, why can't ActiveForever? Ditto to Amy's review to the Zero stars.
