| - We made a last minute reservation ad we were surprised that we were able to get it so easily. By the time we left, we realized why they aren't too busy. We were the only ones there on a weekday evening.
I'll start off with the girl at reception. She was friendly and nice and asked us to read the rules. She then showed us the room and explained that the digital locks will lock out for 5 minutes after 3 failed attempts. She set the timer and walked out. No story or explanation.
The first room had clues which didn't make much sense, so we had to ask for her help 3 times. We were stuck in there for 20 minutes, not because it was too challenging, but because it didn't really add up. We figured out the clue, but she had to tell us that the numbers were off because of the interpretation of the clue, which didn't make sense. There was one decent clue after that, but the rest of the rooms were so easy, it was comical. The answers were practically written right there for you. After our 20 minutes in the first room, we finished the remainder in under 15 minutes.
The last room before you escape is right in the reception area, only separated by jail bars. While we were in there, the receptionist was chatting on the phone the entire time! It was so rude and distracting. Once we escaped, she rushed us out, so she could get back to her phone call.
This was not our first escape game, so we expected a lot more, but were very disappointed.
I would not recommend this place at all.
It was also very expensive for the quality of the rooms.
