| - There are some more favorable seats, definitely grab a booth or something by the window to view Bellagio's fountains, unfortunately due to the proportions of my body, I had to peep over or under the metal strip on the window.
Great Italian wine variatels by the glass: Falaghina, Vermentino & Rosso Di Montalc.
Eats:
*Complimentary bread is a meal in itself, there is a selection with salami and cheese between excellent toasty bread. The accompaniments were housemade, mascapone butter and marinated eggplants.
*Waygu Beef Tartare, cured egg, parmigiano, toasted hazelnuts & sea salt, the nuts were a unique touch, flavors were delicate & clean, the beef shined
*Duck Foie Gras Ravioli, lovely marsala reduction, the filling was so heavenly, but I thought the pasta was a little thick
*Black Farfalle, lobster, bread crumbs, perfectly al dente pasta, sweet generous pieces of the crustacean
*Branzino, leeks, white asparagus, pine nuts and gremolata, LOVED this dish, crisp skin and nicely cooked flesh.
*Aged Sirloin Beef, gnocchi, wild mushrooms, parmigiano & ragu, rich, hearty and robust flavors, the cut of beef could have been better
Wish there was a green leafy salad, the only thing I spied was the heirloom mozzarella. Doesn't cut it for me.
Seamless service and solid food, one of the better choices for Italian on the Strip, the ambiance is there, if you want to go purely for food, Batali or bust.
