  • I went with my third professional opinion Dr. Abrams to perform my laser cataract surgery. The reason I did not choose Dr. Jackson was because of the advice he had given me. It wasn't incorrect advice but I felt like he kept giving me the runaround and blowing me off. He knew I went to Dr. Wellish for my first opinion. I wonder if they are friends because once he found out Dr. Wellish was who I went to prior and I was coming to Dr. Jackson for second opinion, Dr. Jackson recommended that I wait years to perform cataract surgery because of my young age?!?! Then ironically the next day I get a call from Dr. wellish's office to come back in. I think Dr. Jackson was playing games with me. So I went to Dr. Abrams and got a third honest opinion. He took the time to listen to me and answer all of my questions. I just had cataract surgery done by Dr. Abrams and I can see better than ever! My cataract was so bad his technician couldn't even get a measurement. They had to use an ultrasound to get a proper measurement because it was that thick! So if it was so bad why did Dr. Jackson tell me to wait until I'm 50-60 yrs old to do the procedure? I didn't realize how bad I could not see with this cataract until I just had the surgery done! My quality of life literally changed overnight. No, I would not recommend Dr. Todd Jackson.
