I had a Groupon I purchased and wish to use in March. A week in advance, I called to schedule an appt before an event I had. When I called, I was told the groupon was only good for weekdays. However, looking closer at the fine print on my Groupon voucher, it says only weekdays in "April and May" (I get it, prom and graduation season). So I call back and woman who I spoke to explained that it has been a big ordeal, but they are not accepting these Groupons for weekends anymore. So basically, I paid $45 for a Groupon that I would never otherwise use (very frustrating!!!). She was very pleasant and explained I could e-mail a manager of some sort and maybe an exception would be made. A few e-mails were exchanged back and forth and I was confident it might work out. The day before my event, I was asked if I'd be willing to go to another location. I agreed to go to another location and then....crickets. No other emails, calls or correspondence whatsoever. It's frustrating that a Groupon that I bought for a specific event was not being honored, and that led to several (hopeful) e-mails but then...nothing. I'm bummed out. It would have been my first time going to a blow out bar and I would have definitely been a repeat customer. :(
