  • I have been going to Benson's Barbershop for over a year now! I have lived in 5 different states! Finding a good barber that actually cares AND takes their time is few and far between. I spent a good two year going to quick cut places around Phoenix that have so many people cutting hair!They would sit you in a seat, ask you what number on the razor, and then see how fast they can get you out the door! Ben and his daughter are the reason I keep coming back. Last time I was in, Ben was cutting my hair and I was the only one there. As he was cutting may hair about four more people had trickled in. That is the most I have seen come at one time. I thought for sure he might try to hurry it up with me. Nope, it was like I was the only one there still. Some people might get annoyed by that, but then again those are the people who should stick with the quick cut places. The people who come to his shop are the people who don't mind waiting, because they know they are waiting for a good hair cut and understand that it takes time! That is something money just can't buy. P.S. I am just a gringo from Ohio who moved here for a job. But I love diversity and also enjoy trying to brush up on my Spanish (listening) while still using English as well! P.P.S. I also am not affiliated with Yelp in any way! Yeah I can TELL when Yelp has their own people review places (sorry Yelp, but it's not rocket science) but I am doing this ONLY because this local business deserves to become more than just a local secret! Thank you Ben!!!
