  • I give them one star but they don't even deserve that. I had them install my HVAC system because they had a relationship with Home Depot and hd has always taken care of me. They did the install and it included a 5 year service plan. Not long after the instal HD terminated their agreement. First, the service plan means that a tech comes out once a year to check over the system. This takes 5 minutes and then you have to listen to a sales pitch about all the things you need. They try to sell duct sealing every time which costs thousands. They have been late to the service appointments every time I have booked them. They missed the last one because "the tech had a flat tire". The AC stopped working so we called them out. They said there was a $79 service call fee to come out. My wife asked what about the service plan? They said that only covers the annual "servicing" of the unit not repairs. The tech shows up 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment without calling. Fortunately, someone was home. After 10 minutes of work, he says that the blower motor is blown and they would need to order a new one from the manufacturer and that it would be in by the next day. Three, (yes three) days later, they claim that they have the motor and that a tech has to drive it down from Phoenix (we live in Tucson) but we are scheduled as the first job of the day. After several hours, no tech. When we call in to ask about his whereabouts, they tell us that, believe it or not, that the tech had a flat tire. After a few more hours, no tech. We call in again and they actually tell us that after they changed the tire his truck broke down. The tech shows up for out 8:00am appointment at 4:30pm. We ask him about the truck problems and he seems to have no clue what we are talking about. He goes up on the roof and says that the condenser is frozen so he can't do the job. But it doesn't matter because the blower is blown too and he doesn't have one on his truck. Wait, what! I call the office I ask for and and get a manager on the phone and ask him to explain to me how it is that this tech does not have the correct part on his truck as well as a few technical questions about things the tech has told me. He said that he has the motor on his desk (120 miles away) but can't answer any of my other questions because he is the the marketing manager. I tell him that he had better figure out away to get someone to drive that motor down immediately. They got an on call tech to come down and install the motor and finished the job at 10 pm. In the mean time, we did not have AC for 4 days while the high temperatures were around 110.
