What's going on food fighters? Went for late lunch yesterday. Ordered the southwest omlet with hash browns and a biscuit. My grandson had the chicken nuggets and fries and my husband had a Belgian waffle with strawberrys and scrambled eggs and bacon. All of our food was less then luke warm. My hash browns were way over cooked and more like shoestring potatoes. The omlet was rubbery and lacked flavor. The biscuit was the best part of the meal, fresh and moist. My grandsons food was barely warm. i tasted my husbands waffle. It didn't look good, light yellow and white and it tasted terrible, tough and flavorless. It almost tasted like fish batter. You could hardly cut it with a knife it was so rubbery. His eggs were also bad, tasted like leftover from Sunday buffet. He asked for bacon to be crispy and it came med well, not crispy. What a huge disappointment. We won't be back. When I eat out I go to places 1 for great food 2 great service 3 atmosphere in that order. I have been there several times and had 3 incidents. Was charged for something I didn't order, was given 2 1/2 pieces of fish when I ordered three pieces and poor service(lazy waitress couldn't clear dirty dishes off the table). Our server yesterday was pleasant but left all the dirty dishes on the table. It's not that difficult to grab some dirty dishe when you walk by.
Yesterday was the last straw. There are way too many really good restaurants to go to with great food and trained professional wait staff and cooks. It's pretty bad when you can get better food and prices at Perkins and Chilis.
I really hate giving bad reviews but I really hate getting ripped off.
Train your wait staff and hire cooks who are experienced and cook with love.
