I'm really behind on my reviews but here goes:
I've been getting together with old friends quite a bit lately and one of them chose Fast Eddie's. I grew up in this neighborhood so was glad to see an independently-owned joint in an area overpopulated by chains and "berto's". This is a diner with a menu to match so we both went for biscuits and gravy, with a side of eggs and sausage. The meals were huge and the pricing was more than generous. The place itself is nothing fancy but the value and good service make up for the no-frills interior. Sometimes you just need some eggs and good company and Fast Eddie's fits the bill.
