  • I stumbled upon Evoke when I was looking for a Groupon for a hair salon. Evoke offers a $25 groupon which includes an aroma therapy treatment along with your haircut, which is a sweet deal. I called to make an appointment and I was set up with Samantha who was handling the Groupon clients for that day. There was a confusion in setting up the appointment as I was told 1:30 on the phone, but when I got to the place, the person at the front desk said my appointment was at 2:30. I was offered a beverage while waiting for my appointment, which was nice. Samantha came to greet me when it was my turn, and she took my coat and purse and hung it for me. This was my first haircut at a professional place (I used to go to $10-$15 places), and Samantha went through explaining what was wrong with the layering of my hair and what I had to do to fix it, which I really appreciated. Although this Evoke location is out of my way - I live in the west side of Toronto - I hope to visit their west location soon.
