  • This is a somewhat odd grocery store on 17th avenue but I can understand its necessity if you are too lazy to go to the Coop or Safeway that are within 10 blocks. Here you get all your staples; there is a bakery and a deli, a somewhat okay fruit section and about 10 rows of food. It is so old skool here which I like; reminiscent of a little grocery store we used to go to in Debden Saskatchewan in the 70s. In fact this place looks like it is still in the 70s. But if you need a lottery ticket, a newspaper, a carton of milk or some smokes and get staples to get you through the week, I guess this would be the neighbourhood's number one option. The gals that work here are super friendly as well and there seems to be many sales on their produce.
