Store recently changed their point of sale system and released it with known glitches. If you're the unlucky one who gets a glitch then the check out process grinds to a halt for you and everyone in line behind you.
Store manager needs to be called.
She needs to get the number for support.
Call is made to support.
Manager argues with support that she was instructed to call them.
Support argues back that it's not the right process.
Manager argues that she's not been given another process.
Support says that she can reboot the system.
Manager says she was told to call support to do that.
You stand there, mouth open, trying to keep that little filter gate in place that starts screaming and cussing because all you want to do is GTFO.
In the end, support and manager decide to tolerate each other long enough to verify if your credit card has been charged. At this point, you can decide to do the only thing you have the power to do ... make sure you didn't pay a dime and WALK OUT OF THE STORE.
Whilst waiting, the disenchanted staff twirl their hair and roll their eyes and tell you this happens "fifty times a day."
Overall it's not a bad store, but there are other stores (TSC, I'm looking at you!) that sell the same kind of merchandise for the same prices.
