  • Decided to stop by after a long day at work because my boyfriend and I were hungry! I checked Yelp before I came and saw that the happy hour goes from 6-7pm if you sit in the bar/lounge area (score!!). We were greeted by three people at the front immediately with smiles. Right of the bat, loved the decor and ambiance of this place. There was tons of Mexican-inspired artwork and the lighting was a nice mix between natural and dim (made for a romantic/chill vibe). Our server was quick and made sure we had everything we needed! He recommended the Peach Margarita, and I loved how it wasn't over powering with sweetness, but it was balanced enough that the tequila didn't hit me right away. You get complimentary chips and 3 salsas. I wish we got bigger chips, our bowl was mostly crumbs, but the salsa choices were awesome. Definitely something for everyone if you like spice, beans, or green chilies! My boyfriend got the Carne Asada plate. He said it was alright because he wanted more seasoning/spice, but he enjoyed the rice and beans. He said the rice tasted similar to his mom's! I ordered the Ensenada Street Tacos with grilled shrimp. I loved the spicy sauce and the crispness of the cabbage with the juicy shrimp. Definitely a flavorful bite. I'm pretty happy with my experience here and would recommend for a group lunch for some of my coworkers because they have so many different choices of entrees. I'd love to check out the happy hour menu too because the prices were so reasonable!
