| - Will you like True Food? Well, it's great for people who are looking for "clean eating", whatever the hell that means to you. That is, it's great for posers who don't really want to do the work to eat well or stay fit, but want to feel better about eating out or eating junk at home (loading up on sweet potato chips, antibiotic-free fried chicken and frozen greek yogurt).
Ultimately, True Food is wildly overpriced and not very good. I've joined friends here for lunches and dinners, not by choice. I've had the pizza (hurray for me, it's "veggie"), entree salads (hurray for me, I'm eating salad), tacos (hurray for me, it has organic beef) and rice bowls (hurray for me, nothing's fried). I've yet to have a good dish here that was filling and/or worth even 1/2 what they charge. Best thing on the menu is the hummus appetizer, and there are dozens of places in town who do it better.
If you want to eat healthy, prepare yourself healthy and great tasting food at home. If you want low-cal food that tastes great, walk over to Seasons 52. If you want food that tastes great and don't care about "appearing" healthy, there are a million places in Phoenix/Scottsdale I recommend -- read my reviews if you care to.
