  • This theatre is definitely no Varsity, or Paramount (now known as the Scotiabank theatre). The bigger theatres are nice, the seats and the sound are great. HOWEVER, the concessions are horrible. I mean Rainbow Cinemas horrible. This seems to be a failing of all AMC theatres... While some people don't care about that, I have a Pavlovian response to movie watching. In other words, if I'm watching a movie I MUST have popcorn. There popcorn sucks. Sucks large... and that "topping" that you can put on to heart's content is just ick...
