| - I've known of this place for a few years and just never got around to checking it out till last night. I never knew the SO was a huge pinball buff till recently, so naturally this place came to mind.
The minute we stepped through the door and started walking up and down the aisles, a massive wave of nostalgia washed over me! Indescribable! Growing up in the 80's I saw a bunch of familiar titles. They also carry some old video games like spy hunter, centipede, and Q-bert!!
We ended up playing all the Star Wars machines(SW Nerd here), Simpsons, Family Guy, Transformers, Lord of the Rings, Addams Family, Flinstones, Spiderman, Royal Rumble(90's WWF wrestling), Shrek, Pirates of the Caribbean, and many more!
They even have some old machines I'm assumng were from the 60's and 70's as well! Very old school and a real trip seeing the differences between the older and newer machines!
We spent nearly 3 hours here last night and spent maybe $16 or $17 dollars! How do you beat that?! Most of the games are either 50 cents or 75 cents a play. Some will even run you one shiny quarter!
The only employee(owner?) we encountered was nice and helpful to us, so definitely no complaints there.
They open at 11 am every day and close at 11 pm Sunday-Thursday and stay open till midnight on Friday and Saturday.
I cannot stress enough how much I love this place. It's cheap, fun, and takes me back to when I was a kid! We will be back over and over and over and over and over...
5 super-duper mega power stars!
