Yelp was the deciding factor in our choice of Arizona's Dukes of Air. For a company to be so highly reviewed we had to see for ourselves.
We called to schedule a consultation for a complete HVAC system replacement with the company and had the appointment set. Unfortunately it had been mistakenly booked for the week prior and at appointment time no one showed up. We called and spoke to the office inquiring of the techs ETA and decided to reschedule after no appointment was found. Less than 5 minutes later, John the owner, personally called to humbly admit to their mistake. He didn't point fingers or make excuses, just owned up to it which deflated the inconvenience in our mind. John offered to consult the job personally the same day later in the afternoon which we agreed to. John explained the current standing of our HVAC system and the process to efficiently update it. We appreciate his time spent breaking down the options of unit pricing and features that would best suit the needs of my home and family.
When making a large investment I always will choose to deal with someone that displays the "heart of a teacher" approach rather than an arrogant "Not my first rodeo". The technicians Manny, Luis, Beto and Freddy were very clean, efficient and respectable in their work habits. Another technician, Todd, followed up at our home a few days later to ensure the installation and system were operating properly.
We have found when our acceptance level is equally aligned with our expectations, minor hiccups in business transactions turn into long lasting business relationships.
