  • Dear Phil from Apple Yesterday at 2:00pm you changed my life. No you didn't give me a winning lottery ticket, but the valuable information you bestowed on me sort of feels like you did. You must know two things about me to understand my happy fervour. One, I am as clumsy as they come, dropping, breaking and falling all the time. Two, I am a little obsessed about the look and perfection of my phone screens. My issue began when I first received my iPhone, minutes after it was out of the box it was covered with my prints and grime. (As a note I do not "grime" regularly.) I assumed that what must fix this was screen protector, and knowing my clumsy history this seemed like a logical choice. Protector one was riddled with problems the moment it was on my screen, lifting and filling with dust and debris. Protector two, I took my time with this one cleaning and placing it just so. After 20 minutes of fiddling and prodding the protector was on and alas it also had several small hairs littering the inside. beyond that it didn't save from any finger prints, grime ,or a million tiny little scratches. I ventured to the Apple Store hoping to find a matte screen cover as seen on Kat F's iPhone, which I would then have installed by the queen of installs Sarah L. I approached Phil hoping to speed my trip thru the madness of the Apple store, and was delightfully surprised. Not only did he not try to sell me crap I didn't need, but he went even further to show me how durable my phone was without said screen cover by; hold breath here; running his house keys repeatedly over the screen. (He did preface this by saying "Don't do this at home!") So on the spot I ripped off my litter filled screen guard and delightedly exclaimed, "Phil you are the best." To which he promptly replied, "So my wife tells me." Thus ended my life-changing trip to the Apple store, now every time I look at my phone I smile as it is clean and lovely. Bottom line...this store seems to be filled with an easy going and knowledgeable staff who are intent on making every customer number one, so "Thanks again Phil!"
