  • The rating and information provided is not based on any spa services. It is only based on the cleanliness and condition of the Men's Sauna facility, and amenities. Spa Type: European/Resort Admission: - $60+3% Service Fee (Non Hotel Guest) - $50+3% Service Fee (Hotel Guest) - Free with select services Vanities (10) - 6 with sinks, 4 without - Stocked with standard essentials Showers (11) - 7 Standard, 2 Handicapped accessible - All stocked with Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash and eucalyptus spray - 2 "Experiential Rain" Showers (not for bathing) Saunas (4) - "Crystal" Steam Room - Herbal Dry Room - Traditional Finnish Sauna (Dry) - "Igloo" Room [Out of Order as of 10/15] Pools (1) - Hot (Jacuzzi)(105°) Lounge: Very large lounge broken into 4 areas: - Refreshment area (Water, coffee, fruit, light snacks) with 2 large leather armchairs. - Resting area with 4 long napping chairs, each with a curtain partition and reading light - TV (low volume) area with 6 large leather armchairs. - Low volume conversion area with 4 large cloth armchairs. Overall Impression: my experience started off a bit rocky. They add an additional 3% service charge on top of your day-pass fee, which seems ridiculous. Never had that at any spas before. Then I had to sign 3 different forms just to get in the men's area. They also put an uncomfortable paper bracelet on your wrist (yes, the kind you wear at a concert to prove you're old enough to buy alcohol) for reasons which were unclear. I just ripped mine off once I was inside. The best and most unique feature were the 2 Experiential Rain Showers. They have 3 settings for various intensities: Cool Fog, Tropical Rain, and Caribbean Storm. A very nice way to cool down, especially after a hot sauna or jacuzzi. I was excited to check out the Igloo Room, but it was out of order. I asked the grumpy manager when it was going to be repaired, and he said they had no specific timeline on the repairs. I'll remove the [out of Order] tag above if someone messages me that it's working again. Also, the Finnish Sauna didn't get as hot as it should due to a large glass wall which was absorbing too much heat. The lack of Cold Plunge cost this place a 5th star. In my opinion, your money is better spent at Qua. You get a lot more spa for the same price.
