I booked an appointment with the Genius Bar, came on time and still had to wait for an hour. The person who finally came to help me (Angela) was very helpful, nice, and was able to solve my problem, however I had to wait for another two hours until my phone was ready. Once I came back they told me to wait again to be helped. I don't have an issue with waiting IF everyone is busy. However, I do have a problem when there are multiple employees (even the ones who help with repair) are just conversing while Im waiting there JUST TO PICK SOMETHING UP! I ended up having to wait for another 30 minutes for something that could be done in less than five! The store wasn't even busy anymore by the time I came back. What makes me more upset is the fact there would be many employees stand right next to me and not even check if I needed help with anything or if I'm being assisted.
The problem is that they have so many employees that have minimal duties, and only a handful of them are actually trained to be useful. During my visit I was passed around to a total of 5-6 people. I wish I had a better experience with this Apple store. I don't know how the other branches are, but I'll definitely try those stores next time and not come back here.
