| - Now let me tell you, if I were vegetarian or vegan, this would likely be a four star experience. As a meat loving lady, it was only 3 stars. The place was clean and ambiance was fitting. We had a coupon that we bought on restaurant.com and that is what our deciding factor for this establishment.
The service was polite and friendly. No complaints in that department.
The menu was substantial, but as I get older I find that places with such a large menu yet tiny place, often miss the mark when it comes to execution of full flavor of their items. (Due to waste control, they need to be able to mix quickly.) We had the equivalent of the chicken masala and it was way sweeter than anything I have ever had. The sauce reminded me of the Indian tomato soups that I have had, in both texture and flavor. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't what I had expected based on my past experiences at other Indian restaurants. Also, despite ordering it spicy and requesting it be an 8, it was very mild. We ordered the garlic naan and could hardly taste any garlic.
I ordered a Mango Lassi to go and it was okay. A bit heavy on the yogurt. I prefer my Lassi drinks lighter/less thick.
All in all, not so bad but I just wasn't wowed at all.
