| - Upon walking in, you'll notice how spacious, clean, and organized the store is. I went in at 4:30 on a Sunday with two bags of clothing, shoes, some toys, and a baby carrier to sell. They told me they stop selling at 4:00 which was a bummer since I was coming from Goodyear, but they still kept my items and told me I could come back the next day after 11 am to pick them up. So I went in the next day, and they only offered me $50 for a couple of items of clothing, some shoes, and my baby carrier, which was bought for $160 and used once. Everything that they declined was brand name (Janie and Jack, Ralph Lauren, Zara,H&M, adidas, etc.) and all of the toys worked. I still accepted their offer, since I did drive 25 minutes two days in a row and really didn't need that stuff anyway. So the following day, my friend called me asking if she could borrow my baby carrier. I told her yes, and immediately called the store to ask if I can come in and get it back. They told me to come in and they'd figure it out. Once I got there, I was told that they couldn't just give it back and have me return the $20 they offered for the baby carrier but that I had to buy it back from the store. They had it priced for $40. One of the ladies, however, told me she could give me a "discount" and let me buy it back for $25 +tax, so $27 total. It was only $7 more....but still. She could've just given it to me for $20. But I understand that it might have not been that simple, and it was very nice of her to let me get the carrier back. Everyone in the store is friendly and accommodating and it's a lot more organized and pleasant to be in than other locations. The only problem is you're probably better off selling your items on OfferUp or Kid to Kid (in the past they offered me $100 for a small bag of high quality designer clothes which I thought was fair!) I mean, $50 for a NEW carrier, a couple outfits, and a couple pairs of shoes is just ridiculous. I understand they have to make a profit, and it's just the way Once Upon A Child works, but come on....
