  • Woody's is the go-to bar on church street; the bartenders are friendly (and generally good looking), the bar is crowded on the weekend and the music is never overpowering so it's a place you can get to know people or hang out with friends. The reason it's just okay is because of the lack of creativity. The weekly events NEVER change so the place can quickly become stale and complacent. Every week they have the same old 'Best Chest' and 'Best Ass' contest. Before the contests, drag queens are allowed 15 minutes to perform a few lip sync routine (Rihanna and Britney are weekly staples) and then becomes the uncomfortable poaching of the audience to find willing (drunk) guys to show their asses/chests. I'd like to see something different. Trying something new!
