  • I booked my rental with Dollar through Kayak. On the rental page it said I was getting a Generic vehicle (never heard that before - not Economy, Luxury, Premium) but then it showed me a picture of a Chrysler 200 and said "or similar". So I, stupidly aasumed because of the picture and the words "or similar" that my car would be either a Chrysler 200 OR SIMILAR!!!!!! When I arrived at the rental station they tell me no. My selection is "Economy" class. And my selection was from a Ford Focus hatchback which would make a child driver feel crammed or some even smaller vehicles. When I tried to show my email with the picture of the Chrysler 200 or similar to the Dollar agent he didn't care at all and said "no. That's not what your reservation is for". To get the Chrysler 200 or similar I would have to pay $20 extra a day! RIDICULOUS!!! I WILL NEVER USE DOLLAR OR KAYAK AGAIN! DO. . NOT. . . USE. . . . . DOLLAR. . . . RENTAL. . . . . CAR!!!!!
