  • Just had a cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal) yesterday and the whole team at this hospital were wonderful. From the doctor to the nurses, the check-in and recovery staff, I had a really pleasant experience at Chandler Regional. I will be honest, at first I saw some of the negative reviews on Yelp and I was leery of being at this hospital for surgery. I visited the hospital about a week beforehand and it really calmed my nerves. The facility is very clean, all of the staff I have come into contact with have been excellent and all of the nurses did a wonderful job keeping me calm before and after surgery. Jorge was my check in nurse and he had me laughing and smiling before surgery. Cedrick was my recovery nurse and he did well to encourage me through the first painful steps after surgery. The staff even saw that the family staying with me in the pre-op room was cold and offered them a blanket. I have 100% faith in their competency as a hospital and well versed, kind staff. I was happy and my family was happy. I would 110% recommend this hospital for surgery. Very satisfied!
