| - Well, I can see that a few people have had some good experiences with this company. I, on the other hand, did not. They were supposed to give me a 30-minute call prior to arriving but called when they were at the house and made me feel like I was now wasting their time while I traveled over to meet with them. The two men were nice when I met with them and stated they could fix the garage door and even said they could have it completed the next day. This time, I gave them an access code to enter the property and asked them to give me a call when they got there so I would have an idea of when to expect them to be done...Yep, you guessed it no call. But they did call when they were done asking how far away I was so I could pay them. Now mind you this is a rental property and I am a REALTOR and it's not my first go around with vendors, I appreciate a good mom and pop shop and want to support them but sometimes it is just easier to go with the bigger guys. I advised them I was in a meeting on the East side of town and would not be able to be there until the afternoon. Would you believe the girl from the office called me on my cell phone wanting to do a check over the phone...I hadn't even seen the work that they did. I was shocked, they hounded me and my wife for the next several hours trying to get us to drop what we were doing and pay them.
When we did get an invoice emailed to us it had there address on it and we mailed a check to them. Now the repair was done on a Thursday, we got the invoice on Friday and it was the 4th of July weekend. So the check went out the 7th. Would you believe they had the unmitigated gall to threaten us on a voice mail that they were going to file a Mechanics Lein on the property since they had not received payment 7 days after the work had been done?
Well, it gets even better the address they had on the invoice...well it was returned undeliverable. So I get the returned envelope, check and invoice scan it in and send out an email to them asking for a deliverable address. They send me back this in an email:
You can send your undelivered payment to AAA Action Garage Doors 151 E Sunset Rd Henderson, NV 89011. As All of our installation that we do require half deposit and balance to be paid in full upon completion of the installation.
So if you are looking for a garage door company that switches things up and doesn't quit communicate everything at once and want to trust a company that wants half payment up front...well these are the guys for you.
