I grabbed lunch from Villa Madina while at CrossIron Mills recently because I was curious and it had virtually no line-up compared to other vendors in the food court. I ordered the Falafel Sandwich combo, which included herb and garlic potatoes and a drink. Taxes in, it cost me $7.34. What a deal. The sandwich was very hearty and the potatoes were to die for. However, due to the heavy garlic and other spices in my food, my mouth felt like it was on fire for hours afterward. I could sense the destruction of my breath as I was eating, so I convinced my spouse to have a few bites of my meal so I wouldn't be alone. He also loved the potatoes and therefore, we reeked together. For this reason alone, I will forever be selective regarding when I order food from here. I wouldn't dare eat at Villa Madina if I had a function to attend later in the day.
