Knew of Tint King for sometime and decided to check out this location given I had three new cars to tint. The business is sandwiched between a couple of dirty auto garage shops giving the store a seedy look. Not overly appealing to start off with.
Upon entering the premises I began a dialogue with the franchise owner and was impressed with his knowledge. What I wasn't impressed with was his attitude.
I am an Engineer by trade and very detailed oriented so I had lots of scientific questions to ask. I think he presumed I was too inquisitive and not worth his while.
The front of the store blocks off everything going on in the back and when asked to take a peek he quickly shut the dialogue down. I am used to most Auto Shops having full view of your vehicle during service. Any closed off, restricted access locations is an immediate RED FLAG for me.
After that, the owner felt my business was obviously not worth his while and proceed to terminated the sale. For an owner to do this is very suspicious to say the least.
I would not, with good conscience, ever recommend anyone solicit this location if you value your vehicle. My experience was at the front end of the sale. I can't imagine what it would be like after the sale....
