| - If a quick, local, easy-on-the-budget delicious meal is on your itinerary then this spot will not dissapoint. It's a little worn down, in a part of town I would best describe as 'sketchy', but clean and a convenient location if you happen to be downtown or checking out 'First Friday'.
If you're looking for gourmet food, this isn't your stop, but check it out if you want consistently delicious, filling food reminiscent of what your grandmother would make. It's also decently priced and quickly made.
I would recommend the fried plantains. They are great and not something you can find on many menues (fried bananas which are sweet but compliment a savory meal -not dessert). They of course have the meat staples, chicken, steak, and pork but have a vegetarian option as well.
Lastly, if you're looking for a late meal after a night of drinking - you can't go wrong here!
