| - I've been here 3 times now and tried a diversity of items, so I can give a thorough review of this popular place.
Cha Me Cha is probably the other busy place inside Langham Square, the first obviously being T&T. It's extremely busy on weekends, and you're likely gonna be waiting for a table if you arrive later in the night. So far I've tried this place twice for dinner and once for tea time.
The first time I came here, I ordered the crispy chicken, coconut milk custard brick toast, and tomato braised beef with noodle. Oops...I didn't realized the noodle portions would be huge! I ended up having to share with my dad that night. The brick toast was excellent, however the crispy chicken was cold. Papa Chang's win in that category. The second time I came right when it opened for tea time, and ordered the tea time special with a half-price drink. The drink came fast, but the brick toast took forever to come; both tasted very good though. Tonight I tried the Taiwanese seafood hot pot noodle soup...and it was a huge disappointment both in terms of quality and quantity. My orange chocolate milk tea had the chocolate and milk tea feel, but certainly lacked the orange flavour.
None of my three visits so far have had excellent service. I've either been ignored, had orders missing, or had incorrect orders in each of my three visits so far. That being said, I still like this place if I'm not too hungry, as they have several snack size foods that would definitely fit my stomach in that situation.
