  • I really want to like Carlsbad but it's just not making the cut. Let me break it down for you: The good- this place has a beautiful patio and this time of year is the perfect time to go. They have heat lamps out at night and it's quite comfortable. Free chips and salsa when you check in The bad- food is just lackluster. The small cup of salsa we ordered had quarter cuts of tomato in it. Everything else is just on the bland side. Cocktails are pricy and overly sweet. Also majorly lacking on the alcohol. Take it from the worlds biggest lightweight, I felt nothing after my $9 drink. The ugly- the BF and I woke not feeling so hot the next morning. I'll leave it at that :/
