  • My husband and I live on the other side of Pittsburgh and were looking for a place to get away for the night. I can't tell you how happy I am we never left Pittsburgh, and it's all because of this place. The mansion and courtyard are incredibly beautiful, the rooms beyond my wildest expectation (though the shower on the third floor is a bit tricky), the place was spotless, food was great and Ed gave us a completely new appreciation of the North Side of the city (and half my family is from there, so that's saying something). I can't give a high enough recommendation and we will definitely be returning. (Incidentally, my Dad used to go to this building back in the 1960s and says Ed must have done one heck of a job renovating. Yes, he did.)
