  • 5 stars for the front desk staff. They have been nothing but awesome! So I've been waiting about 4 weeks to post this review to see if my 2nd and 3rd times to the office get any better than the first. I had a rough experience on the first go-round, but I talked it out with the front desk staff (which deserve 6 STARS just for putting up with me) and I thought we had it resolved. It was basically miscommunication where as a new patient I didn't get to see the dentist after my 2 hour cleaning since someone misunderstood and thought I wanted to come back next week and do that. Um? Anyway they made it up to me by giving me free custom made teeth whitening trays. Which I thought was going to be awesome. (details later) I came back a couple weeks later to finally see the dentist and she said I needed to pull all my wisdom teeth... okay.... so I started setting up appointments to do that, and then I started to read online that if you're 30 (I'm 32) and you haven't had any problems with your wisdom teeth then you probably won't. Okay, okay I know the internet can be a hit or miss source of information, so when I called back to ask the doc about it, her attitude was sort of like - well, it's up to you. Um. How come 2 hours before it was "you have to pull them" and then when I call back it's like "well, whatever - it's up to you."? Then the teeth whitening thing. I was actually very excited and appreciative of that. (Like I said, the front desk staff is amazing. They will really go out of their way to try and make things right) However, when I went to pick them up the receptionist gave me some very brief instructions on how to use them, so I figured it wasn't brain surgery or anything and I tried it out that night. I did everything exactly as the verbal and written instructions were given, but the whitening solution actually burned my gums and left a sort of reddish black mark that was so sensitive I couldn't even brush my teeth in that area for a few days! (It did heal up, by the way, but I think I'd rather have slightly off-white teeth than risk burning my gums again.) Overall, I think I've tried really hard to like this place and to give them an honest try. But maybe we are just not a good fit. I'm sure they have fully satisfied patients. Maybe I'm just a special case. But I've kind of given up trying and will be going somewhere else from now on.
