| - This place is near my home, is clean and staff is friendly...oh, and they do nice manis, pedis and SnS nails.
Bad news, Saturday I was in with my 11 yr old daughter. We asked for the princess pedi for her and pedi and SnS for me. Kat asked how old my daughter is, I replied 11. She said oh and started speaking Vietnamese with the gal doing my nails. Toward the end, as I was having SnS nails done, my daughter asked if she could have a manicure. I said yes and asked Kat to give her a princess manicure. She said okay and repeated my words.
When we were done, I was surprised to be charged for an adult mani and pedi for my daughter. I was told it was a "misunderstanding." I didn't misunderstand anything, Kat did not tell me princess prices end at age 10. At that point, I put on reading glasses and saw it there in print on the menu.
The odd thing, and what upsets me is Kat spoke enough English to ask how old she is and repeat manicure and pedicure, but I'm assuming she thought the lie by omission would be interpreted as a language barrier. It wasn't, it was a trick! I was not offered a discount, refund, credit of any type. I was so shocked, I still left 20% tip! my bad!!
Unfortunately, we won't be back. there, are plenty of places to get nails done that do an equally good job.
