Came here to service my 2017 Suburban because the GPS was off by an hour. We have traveled to California and Nevada recently and noticed that the arrival times are off by an hour. I assume this was a Daylight Saving Time mode but there isn't anything in setup to change that. I spent over an hour with On Star Infortainment and they told me, it's an internal issue with the GPS.
Upon arrival, I showed what the problem was with the GPS to the service advisor. She said she would pass this on to the techs
I originally had the GPS in Auto mode and On Star told me to switch it to normal which I did. When I turned it in for service, after 2 hours of waiting they said, I had the GPS on manual mode and not auto. I told the Service Adviser, On Star told me to switch it off Auto. She was going to let the service tech know. An hour later, the service tech told me I had it on manual mode and it should be on Auto.
Do they not speak to each other? This is the second time, I have been here and they are dropping the ball once again.
Communicate with each other people, this will save a lot of headaches.
They finally did a update, which didn't fix anything. I asked them to check another 2017 Suburban on the lot to see if this was doing the same thing, which they refused to do.
The tech told me that most people are never satisfied and he is correct. I'm not satisfied whatsoever.
