I recently saw my first show here..."Stage Kiss" and found it to be very well done and entertaining. I haven't been to a black box theater in forever, but this one was just as I remember they should be. Tiny. Intimate. Fun. This theater sat maybe 70? The actors all did a great job, the sets were simple but effective, and the sound and lighting were both good. For 20 bucks we had a great time and I will definitely be back. The wonderful, and sometimes awkward, thing about a black box theater is the intimacy . .. you are SO close to the action , that you see EVERY little thing, which makes it more real than a big stage production. And that can make parts of the play a little uncomfortable, and sometimes cringe worthy, as you feel like you are a peeping tom on someone's most private moments. I would have given it 5 stars if the seats had been padded.
