| - Yes, it is a little older and out-dated, but my boyfriend and I just stayed here over the weekend after a nice hike on the Mary Jane Falls trail. We did the deal that comes in the mailers (Sun-Thurs $99/Fri-Sat $132) and it included two dinner entrees the night we checked in as well as two breakfast entrees this morning before we checked out. (Check in is at 3:00 pm, but we checked in around 1:15 pm and check out is 11:00 am) I guess Friday and Saturday nights they have a prime rib special 12 oz cut for $27 and 16 oz cut for $32. We chose this option as it was included as part of the two entree deal. Though it was a tad over cooked when we ordered medium rare, but the meat was very flavorful and the au jus that was served with it was very tasty. For breakfast we both had steak and eggs which were okay. The room was very nice, we reserved a king bed and got upgraded to a junior suite that had a little more space and a dining table. The bathroom was a little out dated, but the shower worked well. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I wouldn't expect it to be perfect and to high standards as it an older resort, but we found it to our liking and definitely enjoyed our stay...especially after a day out hiking. Forgot to note, at the restaurant A Cut Above, the young lady hostess on the evening 10/18/2014 (didn't catch her name) was particularly helpful and friendly to us and everyone else dining around us. She constantly refilled drinks, sat people, and set up tables for new guests to be seated.
