  • It is safe to say that we finally have all of our belongings. My husband and I were disappointed in using Sullivan/ Mayflower for our move. We ultimately decided to choose this company even though the cost was slightly more than a couple of other quotes that we had. We were under the impression that our truck would arrive approximately when we did, it arrived a week later. I guess if we would have read the small print on dates or had that explained to us, we probably would have selected the company that told us to ship our stuff at least 2 weeks before we were going to be in our destination (rather than 5 days). We were also assured that our TV's would be packed safely. I will say that they did arrive with the screens intact, but unfortunately we had to order special parts from the manufacturer because the packers took thinks apart that were not meant to come apart. The were not broken in transit, they were taken apart. It is a hassel to be reimbursed for that by printing and faxing and waiting around for someone to come look at the boxes. On the bright side the truck driver was good with communication the tentative day of delivery as well as the contracted mover was very hard working and efficient. They were very pleasant and worked until 8:30pm unloading the truck.
