  • Very Disappointed. Went to Assommoir for "MTL a la table" and would have gathered gone to la bell province for a tastier meal. First we waiting 30 min to get served. We ordered oysters which came late and warm! I ordered the Bison Tartar which was good! Ordered the Deer Osso bucco and my wife ordered the Fish. My Deer was as the menu said Smoked. HORRIBLE! all you tasted was the burnt outside and the meat was very over cooked and dry. My wife ordered the fish with came half raw. When the waitress finally came by she asked if everything was ok. i just said that the Deer was not to my liking. she took it as if i insulted her and told me it was clear on the menu that it was smoked. I didn't want to argue so i asked for the dessert and check.The dessert was also over cooked and dry. couldn't finish it either. we paid and left. the biggest disappointment was this week was the time for the restaurants to shine . My wife and i took a special night to go on a date night and this restaurant spoiled the night. Bad service , Bad food, Disappointed !
