| - You're paying for the view.
My suggestions:
Bouchon at Venetian. Exciting food, delectable flavors, and ingredients that you would never think of pairing together having a party in your mouth. Half price over this place.
Echo&Rig(off the strip), but sooooo worth the drive. They have their own butcher shop! The meat is not meat, but butter meat. Unbelievable. I have never had a better steak in my life... MUST TRY FOR PEOPLE VISITING! 3 of us, bf and dad, still less than what we paid here.
I'm a local, so I've been to quite a few places here. This is NOT on my radar for the future.
Service was decent. Except for the bus boy who "cleared the table crumbs" by scooping over the table on to my boyfriend's lap. He saw, but didn't apologize.
I'm giving two stars for the view. We both ordered filets that were too chewy to be the quality we were paying for $70 each. The sides were bland, not exciting or creative. The only saving grace was the king crab salad as the appetizer.
We did get 6 mini little "treats" at the end of the meal!!! But, after a $300 tab for two of us, that's not the happy ending I would expect.
