| - Micro good. Peeling TERRIBLE.
I came here for a microdermabrasion and a salicylic peel. Micro; was great leaving my face soft and smooth. The only con is it only cover the face, every other micro I had in the past was both face and neck. But everything was good until my next visit
Peeling; Britany was very nice explaining what it was good for me and that the best choice for my face was a salicylic peeling. So I did, I rapidly noticed a terrible burning on my chin, like fire literally. The rest of my face burned but not as bad and it rapidly cool down as the time pasted. She said it was normal and it just meant the acid is penetrating good so she did a second layer and it burned terrible again in the same area, but I trusted what she said, plus it cool down after awhile. Anyways she gave instructions of what to do and not to; like do not pick my face,to use moisturizer and sunscreen, no sauna, among other things and if I peel , I should be healed and good after a week. She even mentioned my face may look brown but it will go away. Well it's being 3 weeks, and I follow her instructions and beyond. My skin is healed, but I gotta said I spent a very painful first week on my chin. First, it was really red like raw meat, then it turned really dark and crusty, then after 1 1/2 week all dead skin was gone that's when it look brown and this is when everything turns bad. My chin had a few very small acne light pigmentation before the peeling, reason why I went for a peeling but now I have a LIGTH BROWN BIG SPOT all over the chin, exact the area that was burned. She did mentioned my pigmentation won't go away with one peeling, but she never mentioned I'll get a worst brown spot.
I'll give this more time and will go with my dermatologist and will update my review. I just hope this will go away with time, but I doubt it. Specially now after reading all the bad reviews his practice has. I should've research better.
