  • Probably the most upscale hotel I have stayed at in Vegas to date (I love that they always have fresh flowers!). We got a deal on our room, so price was very reasonable. Accommodations were good, as expected for a five diamond hotel (free chocolate, yay!). The room was spacious, very clean, and newly remodeled. We had two queen sized beds with ottomans at the end of each bed. The decor is nice (no cheesy theme), but not particularly modern (there's less automation than at Aria, for example). The bathroom facilities felt more minimal than I expected for a luxury hotel, but everything was clean at least. My experience with customer service was fine, although not particularly memorable. I've experienced more attentive, enthusiastic service at other comparable hotels. Within the hotel, there are a good amount of attractions - namely, the fountains, the botanical gardens, Cirque du Soleil's "O", and the shopping - all of which are nice, particularly if this is your first time in Las Vegas and/or you are visiting for a special occasion. I'm not crazy about the food options at Bellagio however. Generally, if I'm planning on eating in the same hotel that I'm staying at, I'm looking for convenience; however, there aren't a lot of options for quick meals or even casual dining inside the Bellagio. The best deal is probably the buffet, which is good but often has a long line if you don't go right at opening time. For fine dining, I'd probably leave the hotel. Overall, the Bellagio is a very nice hotel with a prime location in the middle of the Strip. The general atmosphere is probably most appropriate for a couples' trip. Personally, I probably would splurge on a room at Encore before coming back to the Bellagio, but I definitely think it's worth it to book if you see reasonable room rates.
