Pro-tip: Wednesday evenings are free admission.
I took a stroll through all the areas. Almost nothing stood out to me. Lots of boring modern art.
Many pieces are very small.
I was not impressed.
I was making my way towards the exit when I passed by a tour guide who had finished the tour and was chatting to one or two people off to the side. While observing the art there were a few things I didn't understand and decided, why not, might as well ask him.
This guide was incredibly knowledgeable and well-spoken. He answered my questions past a level I would've expected. The only reason I visited the gallery was because it was free that day. I have little interest in art. But his responses captured my attention. We must've spoke for close to half an hour until the place closed. Believe it or not, I made a second visit the following week hoping to take a full tour with him.
Unfortunately somebody else led the tour that time and I missed him. Oh well. His name is Richard, tall fellow. If you see him leading a tour join in! I could listen to him for hours. But maybe that's just me.
