  • Its only one exit from the Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Parking was plentiful and I saw a lot of security cameras, so that should make the lone business traveler feel a bit more secure. The front desk staff was great, a bit overwhelmed, but I watched as they greeted nearly every guest by name and offered a kind word of welcome or a parting kindness. The first thing I noted was that the decor was modern and pleasant. The ambiance was streamlined without seeming cold or sterile. I was there for a meeting, so I didn't see the rooms. While waiting, I purchased an iced coffee. Just a Dunkin' Donuts, bottled iced coffee. It was nothing fancy as I noticed that they didn't have any water or refreshments for guest. It was three dollars? Overpriced much? I took a trip the restroom... Pristine! And decorated with more lux than this girl is used to seeing packed in a bathroom. The cleaning staff does a top notch job of making sure that this place is picture perfect, and every staff member I ran into while there... Acted like a friend you had yet to meet.
