| - They're lucky to get any stars, but I MUST at least try to be objective in my criticism.
Ok...I will give them their rating based on magnitude and options. This place is gigantic, and packed full of good food, shopping and entertainment. Fairly easy to get around. View was great, room was comfortable...even if our mini bar was broken.
Now. Let me explain why we will NEVER return to the MGM (not so) Grand.
First off, upon entering our room, our joy derived from our view and spacious room was instantly sucked from our souls and rendered moot by the open condom wrapper and open tube of lotion by the bed. Then we found someone's clothing...
Then, they improperly coded our room keys which created multiple problems. One, we were locked out of our room. And two, our "free" parking almost cost $20, until an argument with the parking attendant solved that issue after ten minutes!
I can overlook certain things...and had nearly forgiven them, until the final straw.
The most disturbing part of our visit was when I was resting in our room after dialysis. As I was about to drift off into a wonderful pile of pillowed sleep, I heard a noise at our door. DESPITE the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door, in walked a guy (from housekeeping I assume)..."oh, you're not checking out?" NO JACK ASS IM HERE FOR A FEW MORE DAYS!
Why did that happen? Maybe a clerical error, but I don't buy that...
Needless to say, I was very irritated. I could have overlooked even a few more minor irritations, but the blatant disregard for our privacy was beyond unacceptable.
Not even winning a huge jackpot would get me here again.
They'll have to be happy with their rating from this yelper, because its certainly more than they deserved.
