I've been going to this gym because it is convenient. It's is ok, but not great. It's the small things that are working my last nerve.
On the weekends they are only open until 6pm.
But the biggest pain? Towels. I have had towel service for the last few months. You walk in, and ask for a towel, and they are ALWAYS out. They are "in the washer", or "in the dryer" or "In 10 more minutes." I change and stop back in 20 minutes. No towel. I stop again in 20 - NO TOWELS. I stop AGAIN - no towels. I say, "Can I wait? I need to take a shower now." When I have seen them bring up towels, they have maybe 10, which is why they are out.
Is that a service? Being lucky enough to get what you are paying for?
I just started bringing my own so I wouldn't be so frustrated, but then why have the service at all?
And why belong to a gym that appears to only have 20 towels that we are all expected to share?
Is amazingly annoying, and you think that management would hear from the front staff people being angry about it where they would go to Dollarama and buy some more towels.
