  • It always makes me so happy to see new independent coffee shops arriving on the Y&E scene with so many chains dominating the market, especially since sitting in a coffee shop debating life's little things is one of my favourite ways to spend an afternoon. Bulldog coffee does a pretty good job! The decor is almost entirely white and black with very simple brown chairs and tables (check the pictures out) and although it's comfortable I prefer a coffee shop with more of a comfy, cozy feel to it. Having said that the coffee has a great taste. We tried their 'Blanco Bull Dog' - a white hot chocolate with an espresso shot that came with a pretty design onto, and their medium 'americano' ($3) that was served in a big clear glass mug. Their squares and biscotti's look delicious and the staff is very friendly. The shop is very wheelchair friendly and the bathroom is big and clean. Anyway, give this place a try, it gives the Starbucks and Second Cups of the world a good run for their money. That logo though? Is there not copy right infringement issues there?
