I usually don't go for full service on haircuts most of the time and tend to go the standard route without the extras.
That said, the whole point of coming to this store is for the extras. If you are concerned that its going to set you back more than $10 then fine, go to Great Clips. You are missing the point, anyway.
I used to go to a guy with a nice salon that spent wayyy too much time cutting my hair and some related maintenance work. Cost me $35 a pop and I didn't enjoy it nearly as much. So understand that this place is really a bargain for what you get, as long as they do a good job, which they do.
Do the MVP service - it really is a deal for what you get even at the menu price. Bonus is that they do a pretty good job on the cut, too.
