I reached out to hold my daughter's hand as we were about to begin practicing the Father / Daughter dance for her upcoming wedding.
I had nearly forgotten how small and delicate her hands are. And yet, it was just like yesterday when I held this little girl (she's still little to me) in my arms, dancing and singing to her!
NRG was simply a perfect venue to practice for such an auspicious event. Our dance routine wasn't complicated. It was a simple Ballroom Rhumba, to Louis Armstrong's What a Wonderful World.
And our dance instructor Nick was just amazing. He was courteous, professional, and made her feel at ease the whole time. His instructions were clear, concise, and easy to follow and imitate. I could speak volumes about our magnificent experience regarding NRG and Nick.
But words couldn't do a good enough job to evoke all the overwhelming emotions of joy that we all felt that day from practicing in this establishment. It could not begin to express the joy my daughter felt as she practiced for that one last dance with her dad as a single woman. Nor could it express the overwhelming joy she felt as she practiced her wedding dance with her beloved future husband. It's what she always dreamed about.
As I watched all these dance practices unfold, I thought to myself:
What a Wonderful World!
