I wasn't sure what to expect of nitrogen ice cream but it turns out that it doesn't taste much different than regular ice cream.
I ordered a medium chilled mango ($5.75). This was mango ice cream topped with pomelo and with frozen mango pieces inside. There was also a syringe of coconut milk that you can put on top of the ice cream. The pomelo on top was not sweet. It was actually a bit sour. I also wasn't a huge fan of the chunks of frozen mango inside. I would have preferred if it was all ice cream without the mango. Or maybe it would have tasted better with fresh mango instead of icy chunks.
There is limited seating here. Not really suitable for large groups. Tables mostly seat 2.
The employees here seem helpful. The people in front of me had loads of questions about the different flavors and the employee happily answered them.
Would I recommend this place? Yes if you've never tried nitrogen ice cream before. I liked the novelty aspect of the whole nitrogen ice cream thing and the ice cream itself was also pretty good. However I don't think I will be returning here anytime soon. For me nitrogen ice cream was something I wanted to try for the novelty aspect. Since I experienced it now I'm in no rush to return. I certainly wouldn't mind coming back if somebody asked me to though.
